It’s a fact that menopause is often misunderstood by healthcare providers, leading to a lack of recognition of perimenopause in women. Additionally, there exists a gross misunderstanding of the risks and health benefits of Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). As a result, women are often misdiagnosed with mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety, erroneously sent for cardiac evaluations and other speciality assessments. Women are dismissed and refused treatment by their healthcare providers. Women suffer unnecessarily and this misunderstanding has long term negative health consequences for women and their families.
This virtual session is offered every other Wednesday evening, based on enrollment.
The session is a 1 hour presentation and 30 min Q/A. Participants will be provided with a Workbook for a small $25 fee.
